Gaddo, the true interpreter of a region that is renowned worldwide.
The heart of the collection is in Bolgheri, where the story of Gaddo was born, a wine with a decisive, convivial and contemporary character. The grapes of the four varieties come from lowland vineyards on Strada Bolgherese, with south-east and north-west exposures.

HARVEST, WINEMAKING AND AGING
Fermentation takes place in steel vats for about 7-10 days, followed by racking. Starting in November, the wine ages in second-use French oak barriques.
tasting notes
The wine is intense ruby in color with violet hues. On the nose, balsamic and spicy notes accompany nuances of blackberry and cherry. It is fine and complex on the palate, with a satisfying texture and dense, powerful tannins. Alcohol content: 14.00% Vol.
blending and aging
To preserve freshness, about one third of the wine ages in steel. The different varieties are processed separately. The blend is composed in May and left to rest in steel until bottling.
